Celebrate the nation’s birthday with July 4th fireworks in either Corpus Christi or Port Aransas this year! Both are the perfect choice for a fun-filled July 4th fireworks celebration that embodies everything Texas. The Texas motto is “the bigger, the better” and the July 4th fireworks are no exception. Corpus Christi Big Bang Celebration
Celebrate the Mayor’s Big Bang Celebration where everything is red, white, blue and fun.
The July 4th fireworks celebration kicks off with the Big Bang 4th of July Parade at 10:30 a.m. at Shoreline Boulevard. The actual parade starts at Palo Alto and ends at McCaughn Park. A free park and ride shuttle leaves every five minutes from Shoreline and Kinney. The Kids Zone runs from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. where kids can climb a rock wall, jump around in a bounce house, create art projects and more. The Art Walk hosts a variety of arts and craft booths as well as food vendors and live entertainment.
Harbor Bridge Light Show and HEB Fireworks Show
The Harbor Bridge Light Show is an event for the whole family to enjoy. The show starts at 9:15 p.m. at Harbor Bridge. The free event lasts for 15 minutes. The July 4th fireworks show starts immediately following the light show off the USS Lexington. The Corpus Christi July 4th fireworks now has its own Facebook page, so be sure to check that out!
Port Aransas Fourth of July Fireworks
The annual July 4th fireworks display show will begin after dusk at Robert’s Point Park located at JC Barr Boulevard, Port Aransas. The park also hosts a pool, fishing opportunities, shuffleboard, horseshoe, picnic areas, basketball court, volleyball courts and a playground.
