More than 120 photographs by visionary nature photographer Ansel Adams are currently on display at the Art Museum of South Texas in Corpus Christi. "Ansel Adams: Western Exposure," a collection of photographs from the family’s personal archives, can be seen in the Chapman and Kane Galleries until May 4.
The Art Museum of South Texas is at 1902 N. Shoreline Blvd, nestled in the shadow of the Harbor Bridge. It is one of several iconic museums and venues that encircle the city’s Water Garden Fountain in the area known a the SEA District.
The museum is closed on Monday, and open 10 a.m.-5p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and 1-5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is free to members, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi students and faculty and children under 12; $8 for adults; $6 for seniors 60 and older and active military; and $4 for students 13 and older.
