The Port Aransas Marina hosts the annual Inshore Fishing Association Redfish Tournament on April 5 this year. Presented by Cabela's, the IFA Redfish Tour features professional anglers in intercoastal waterways.
The tournament is now in its second decade and has awarded several million dollars in cash and prizes. The Texas Division kicks off with the Port Aransas event before continuing June 7 at the Redfish Bay Boat House in Aransas Pass.
The championship fishing tournament is set for October 24-25 at the Falgout Canal Marina in Houma, Louisiana. Winners of the Florida East and West Coast divisions, the Atlantic Division, Louisiana Division and Texas Division will meet in Houma for the final fish-off.
