The Corpus Christi Municipal Court’s annual warrant roundup ends on March 3. Until then, those with outstanding warrants can settle their legal troubles without fear of arrest by contacting the court in person, calling 361-826-2500, or emailing MCMail@cctexas.com.
Anyone unsure if the court has active warrants against them can conduct a records search online.
The court will assess additional costs and fees in active warrant cases, although residents unable to pay can request a payment plan by calling 361-826-2500 or emailing MCPaymentPlan@cctexas.com.
The Municipal Court reports outstanding warrants to collection agencies, the Texas Department of Public Safety, and the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles, which could prevent the named person from registering a vehicle or renewing a driver’s license.
From March 4-17, Municipal Court marshals will begin looking for residents with active warrants and arresting them wherever they’re encountered.
