The 40th Annual Beach to Bay Relay Marathon will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015. The race starts promptly at 7:00 am.
Join the Beach to Bay Run held annually on Armed Forces Day, the third Saturday in May in Corpus Christi. Beach to Bay honors the men and women in the U.S. Military.
About 2,600 teams with more than 16,000 runners participated in 2013, the 38th annual event.
The 26.22-mile relay marathon is split into six legs of 4.4 miles each — starting on North Padre Island and ending at McCaughan Park on Shoreline Drive.
Outrageous costumes and goofy getups are a common tradition among the runners and are always fun to see. So, even if you’re not ready to strap on your racing shoes or pin on a number, you can always cheer on the runners at the finish line by the bay.
