Natural Beach in an eight mile stretch of beach, a staple in Corpus Christi as a family friendly place to play. Although the beach has no official name, many call it Natural Beach.
The area undergoes minimal maintenance and has only a few trash cans as amenities. No restrooms, showers or campgrounds. Primitive tent camping is permitted.
The seaweed is not regularly removed as it is on other beaches, so the shores are perfect for beachcombing, fishing and more.
After a day of finding the most gorgeous seashells and catching the biggest fish, beachgoers will enjoy one-of-a-kind sunsets over beautiful scenery. Natural Beach is new to the Corpus Christi beach repertoire, but already a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Rules and regulations include:
- Open year-round
- No entrance fee
- No parking permits required; four-wheel drive recommended
- Leashed pets permitted
- Beach fires permitted
- No bathrooms or other facilities on this beach
Natural Beach can be accessed by driving southeast from Corpus Christi on Texas 358 toward Padre Island. Once you reach the island and the highway becomes Park Road 22, continue traveling past Padre Balli Park. Turn left on Beach Access Road 6 and then take a right onto Natural Beach.
