When Natural Grocers holds its grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony in Corpus Christi March 15, the first 50 customers in line will receive gifts cards worth anywhere from $5 to $100, the company announced this week. Located at 3750 S. Staples St., Natural Grocers plans to open its doors to customers at 8 a.m. that Tuesday.
The ribbon cutting will begin at 7:55 a.m., followed by the distribution of gift cards. Customers won't know the amount of the card until they check out.
The grand opening celebration will include live music by Mariachi Aguila of Corpus Christi until 10 a.m. followed by food tastings, cooking demonstration and nutrition classes until 4 p.m.
Other scheduled events will take place from noon to 4 p.m. on the following days:
• Saturday, March 19 — Local fair featuring organic and Texas-made products;
• Friday, March 25 — Natural Grocer’s Eggcellent Adventure Easter Egg Hunt (11 a.m. & 4 p.m.);
• Saturday, April 2 — Gluten-free Tasting Expo and Health Fair;
• Saturday, April 9 — Paleo Fair
• Saturday, April 16 — Taste the Natural Grocers Difference
