A Southside imaging center for Driscoll Children’s Hospital recently opened at 5945 Saratoga Blvd.
Driscoll Children’s Imaging Center is open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday. Located in the same building as Driscoll Children’s Urgent Care, the imaging center offers diagnostic X-ray ultrasound and MRI exams for its young patients.
“Driscoll Children’s Hospital is excited to expand radiologic services in an outpatient setting,” said Laura Zamora, physician practice administrator for Driscoll. “The center is specifically designed to meet the needs of our growing pediatric population in Corpus Christi and the neighboring communities we proudly serve.”
Staff includes radiologic and ultrasound technologists who specialize in pediatric imaging and have state and national licensure.
“Every member of our staff takes pride in going the extra mile to ensure our patients get the highest-quality imaging exam and feel as comfortable as possible,” Zamora concluded.
Using the imaging center will save patients money. Since Driscoll Children’s Imaging Center is in an outpatient setting, a facility fee won’t be charged as it would in a hospital.
