CCTV broadcasts city council and city planning meetings and now includes baseball. Beginning Friday, April 15, the city’s municipal television channel will begin airing select delayed telecasts of Hooks baseball games. Games will replay at 9 a.m. on Fridays and 7:30 p.m. on Mondays. A total of 41 games will air from now until Sept. 2. 
“The Corpus Christi municipal television channel (CCTV) is evolving beyond only public meeting coverage to get all types of information about our City,” said Mayor Nelda Martinez.
Hooks president Ken Schrom added that it is a great way for fans who can’t make it to Whataburger Field for a game the chance to participate in AA minor league play from the comfort of their own home. 
“This is a great opportunity for many of our fans to keep up with the team and follow exciting Texas League Baseball,” Schrom said, adding a special thanks to CITGO for sponsoring the program.

The channel carries Nueces County Commissioners meetings, Army Newswatch programs, a Community Bulletin Board, City Snapshots and programing from Texas Parks and Wildlife. Public meetings are broadcast live.
