Volunteer with the Navy Marine Corps Relief Society and you can make a difference in someone's life. NASCC is looking for client services assistants, caseworkers, and thrift shop volunteers.
Hours are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the 5th deck of the NASCC Health Clinic.
Client services assistants will greet and check-in clients, answer questions and concerns, answer phones and schedule appointments, along with various administration projects.
Caseworkers assist clients by assessing their needs, identifying resources and determining appropriate use of the society’s services and programs.
Thrift shop volunteers collect, sort, price and store donated items.
Customer service and marketing skills are also desired.
