When new building codes take effect September 1, the city of Corpus Christi wants to make sure contractors know what the changes are. Development Services for the city will hold six different workshops in August for building codes, plumbing, gas, mechanical, electrical and more.
A special workshop for citizen do-it-yourselfers will be held on Saturday, August 13. (Details below). All workshops are free.
The construction modifications include the 2014 National Electric Code, the 2015 International Building, Residential, Energy, Plumbing, Fuel Gas, and Mechanical Codes.
