As the largest shrimp festival in Texas, the Shrimporee features live music, dancing, carnival rides, parade, culinary events and a Miss Shrimporee pageant.
Entertainment gets a little silly with a Men’s Sexy Leg Contest, a Great Outhouse Race and a shrimp peeling contest.
Three nights of live music include country stars Kyle Park on Friday and Bart Crow on Saturday. Tejana stars Jay Perez and La Mafia also perform on Saturday. The Spazmatics hit the stage on Sunday.
Kids will love the Kidz Korner featuring age appropriate games and activities. Be sure to check out the White tiger exhibit and all the booths including arts and crafts, commercial exhibitors, comedy and magic.

Where to go
It all happens at Johnson Community Park in Aransas Pass. Shuttle parking is available at the Chamber of Commerce at 130 W. Goodnight and the shopping center at 703 S. Commercial St.
A three-day pass costs $10 each. Day passes are $5 for adults, $3 for kids 12-7. Kids 6 and under are free. Senior citizens (65 and older) and active military pay only $3 per day.
Hours are 6 p.m.-midnight Friday, 11 a.m.-midnight Saturday and 12 p.m.-6 p.m. Sunday.
