Bike Fest is moving to Corpus Christi for its 20th anniversary celebration this October. Located at the American Bank Center, 1901 N. Shoreline Blvd., the three-day event is set for Oct. 11-13. About 15,000 motorcycle enthusiasts and their families are expected to attend this year’s Budweiser Bike Fest XX.
"Sons of Anarchy" actors Tommy Flanagan and Ryan Hurst headline the entertainment along with Travis Tritt and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts.
Once held on South Padre Island, the location switch will retain the island feel while offering inland amenities. This year’s celebration will be bigger and better than ever, say event organizers and sponsors.
A volunteer-based event, Bike Fest XX is expected to generate revenue for local businesses during the off season.
