Mayor Nelda Martinez delivers her State of the City address at a luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, at the American Bank Center, 1901 N. Shoreline Blvd. in Corpus Christi. The event is sold out!
Mayor Martinez is expected to address Corpus Christi’s newfound economic progress, how to balance growth and success and her accomplishments at city hall.
More than 1,000 people attended the mayor’s first State of the City address last year. The theme of the 2013 speech was building on the city’s strengths with its bay front, port and the booming Eagle Ford Shale oil and gas play.
