A new home for Allen Samuels Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Aransas Pass has doubled the dealership’s inventory of new and pre-owned cars while upgrading the parts and service departments with top-of-the-line equipment and facilities.
“The service department has 40 bays with state-of-the-art equipment, great waiting rooms and customer features,” said company President and General Manager Bill Denton. The new facilities also include an accessories shop with all the latest in lift kits, side steps, wheels, tires and more for tricking out any ride from truck to sport-utility vehicle.
The service department now sports the first laser tire and wheel alignment ramp in the area. The ramp feeds information from tread and wear patterns directly into a computer tablet that compiles the service order and sales ticket for instant customer authorization.
Located at 877 S. Highway 35 Bypass, the new Allen Samuels dealership is a testament to the economic growth in the area, Denton said. Samuels, who makes his home in Aransas Pass, has been selling cars in the Fort Worth area since 1982. He opened a Corpus Christi site on West Wheeler Street in early 2013. Quickly after that, construction on the South Texas 35 site began.
“This area has shown solid and continual growth patterns,” Denton said. “With all the new industry coming into San Patricio County and the far corners of Nueces County, we’re going to see big growth patterns over the next five years. We built a larger facility to accommodate that growth and to take care of our customers attractively.”
Brisk sales include all types of vehicles from sedans to SUVs to trucks.
“Texas is responsible for buying the most trucks in the country,” Denton said. “The truck market has always been good here. But we sell a good mix of other vehicles, too. There’s still a thriving need for SUVs — people love that room. And there’s a demand for the sportier, compact cars. People are still buying cars of all sizes, shapes and models.”
