WHAT YOU MISSED LAST WEEKEND
Published 4/17/2015
While the Blue Angels rock the sky, musicians honoring the late Tejano star Selena at Fiesta de la Flor will be jamming by the sea just across the bay. Just over the Harbor Bridge in Portland, cook-offs, more music, parades, a carnival, dog shows and more highlight three days of the annual Windfest celebration. And all along the 118 miles of beach in the Coastal Bend, hundreds of volunteers will be picking up trash in the spring coastal wide Adopt-a-beach cleanup. That’s a lot, but it’s not all. Buc Days gets under way with its Mutton Bustin’ events, Neyland Library hosts a children’s book fair and Padre Island National Seashore hosts a Find Your Park Fair at Malaquite Beach. You’ll find that and more on the 101 Events calendar 101 Events calendar. Check it out any time at 101corpuschristi.com/events . It’s what’s happening in Corpus Christi!
