Regal Quality Cleaning now does much more than empty the trash and mop the floors. The cleaning service responsible for keeping Whataburger Field and Incarnate Word Academy spotless on a daily basis is expanding its services to include building maintenance and managerial peace of mind.
“A particular store manager or owner can have a problem — toilet, light switches, lightbulb burned out, AC filter, any of those issues — they can call or log into the company website, submit a work order, and we fix it,” owner Shawn Dark said. “We can take care of the fire alarms, burglar alarm systems, anything that supports the operation of that facility.”
For one of his first building maintenance clients, that meant painting a wall within a week of the client signing on to the service. Another client’s offices flooded. Regal Quality Cleaning took out the carpet, repaired a wall and put the facility back in working order.
“Instead of them having to find contractors and line up the work, we were able to do that for them,” Dark said. “I want to take as many hats away from the manager as I can to allow him to focus purely on the operation they are trying to manage.”
The new computer work order system also allows clients to provide feedback on services rendered.
“Some people don’t want to confront the crew in front of them when they are unhappy with something,” he said. “Now they can log in and give us better feedback, and we can react quickly to fix any problems.”
