On the third Thursday of every month, the Art Museum of South Texas hosts a special, free event that includes local vendors, live music, and activities. Events are 5:30-9 p.m. This month’s event is Jan. 20. The Art Museum of South Texas is located at 1902 Shoreline Drive in Corpus Christi.
Visitors to the museum may view the entire collection on display before or after engaging in the activities offered. Narjeetos will provide the live music on Jan. 20.
Elizabeth’s at the Art Museum offers a delicious and unique menu of food for purchase. Cold bar items of salmon, shrimp, tuna, and a charcuterie plate will start your meal or provide a snack. Entree options include bacon-wrapped dates, roasted oysters, and seasonal flatbreads. Delightful desserts and coffee finish the meal.
Jimmy Pena Art provides art activities for all ages, and Weird Corpus is organizing the vendor section, where you can shop and support local artists.
For those who would like a stretch session, a yoga class by Water Dog will take place at the museum.
