Institute de Cultura Hispanica de Corpus Christi has been open and serving the greater Corpus Christi community for 40 years. Celebrating the vibrant Hispanic and Latino communities in the Coastal Bend, this museum has educated and enlightened millions of locals and visitors alike. If you're interested in learning more about Hispanic culture, you can choose from a variety of classes and workshops offered at this FREE admission museum.
Throughout the year, Instituto de Cultura Hispanica de Corpus Christi produces a number of special events, all designed to cultivate awareness and appreciation of the area’s Hispanic heritage. The institute holds lectures, recitals, theatrical performances, and art shows along with folklore displays.
The location also serves as an educational center for books, videos, and other information on Hispanic countries.
Established in 1976 by a group of residents interested in exploring the influence of Hispanic culture in Texas, the institute regularly highlights contributions of Hispanic leaders and the area’s Hispanic culture.
CULTURAL DINNER
An annual international dinner raises money for the nonprofit, complete with Hispanic food, Latin music, dancing, and other fun activities. The event usually includes a guest speaker and an evening of lively entertainment.
FESTIVAL NAVIDENO
Experience a traditional Hispanic Christmas celebration at Festival Navideño, a new event at the museum. The festival is held before the end of the Christmas shopping season and includes live entertainment as well as vendors for holiday shopping. Food trucks provide a wide range of dining opportunities.

Instituto de Cultura Hispanica de Corpus Christi is located in the Lictenstein House at 1617 N. Chaparral St. in Heritage Park, downtown Corpus Christi. It is open 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday.
