The highly acclaimed "Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience" is coming to Nueces County, debuting June 8 at the Richard M. Borchard Regional Fairgrounds in Robstown.
Honoring the Dutch Post-Impressionist artist, the exhibit has sold more than 5 million tickets worldwide and garnered critical reviews. There’s no exaggeration to the “immersive” claim as this show takes visitors on a multimedia, beyond-the-frame journey through 300 of Van Gogh's works. High-resolution images — many in motion — are projected onto walls and floors.
“Beyond Van Gogh” occupies 30,000 square-feet of exhibit space and uses over 4 trillion content pixels in its displays. The exhibition is a creation of the Normal Studio in Montreal.
