BKK Thai Kitchen and Bar, named after the airport code for Bangkok, serves both classic Thai dishes and Thai/Mexican fusion. The modern dining room was created by local design firm Squarefoot Design Studio to reflect the beauty of Thailand’s coast.
Patrons love the way that BBK combines a comfortable, unpretentious experience with upscale service. “The waiter made us feel like we were his personal guest” wrote Google Local Guide Ine Martin in a recent review. “I had smoked salmon with poached egg. My husband went for the fried rice with beef and chicken. Both were very good.”
Ryann Denise recommends BKK on Facebook. “This place is awesome! I really enjoyed the Mexican twist in so many of the dishes. I had a hard time deciding what I wanted! Ended up sticking to a more traditional Thai plate, royal Thai with basil and it was on point. My friends got the chili basil and the chorizo woon Sen and everyone was thoroughly impressed, even the picky eater.”
BKK Thai Kitchen and Bar is located at 3850 S. Alameda, in the Lamar Park Shopping Center. They are open Monday through Thursday from 11am-10pm, Friday and Saturday from 11am-11pm, and for Sunday Brunch from 10am-3pm. BKK can be reached at 361-354-0857.
BKK Thai Kitchen and Bar describes itself as reflecting the “hip sensibilities of the surrounding area”. Inside/Outside dining is featured, allowing guests to observe both the art of sushi rolling and the creation of craft cocktails. The patio is available for private events.
