The Catholic Diocese of Corpus Christi has a variety of services planned throughout the community for Holy Week, which includes Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Saturday Easter Vigils and Easter Sunday. Up-to-the-minute information can be found at the Diocese website.
HOLY THURSDAY
Christ the King Church at 3423 Rojo St. in Corpus Christi will hold a 7 p.m. service for Holy Thursday.
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament (bilingual) will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2509 Nogales St. in Corpus Christi, from 8:30-11:45 p.m.
St. Andrew by the Sea Catholic Church, 14238 Encantada Ave. on The Island in Corpus Christi, plans a Mass of the Last Supper and Washing of the Feet at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 29. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in the Prayer Garden will be held from 8 p.m. until midnight.
Mass of the Lord’s Supper begins at 7 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 107 Church St. in Gregory, followed by the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament from 8 p.m. to midnight.
Three separate events for Holy Thursday are planned for Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 5830 Williams Drive in Corpus Christi. At 7 p.m. is the Mass of the Lord’s Supper and Foot Washing. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is set for 8 p.m. to midnight. From 11:45 p.m. to midnight will be the Night Prayer.
At 7 p.m., Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 204 Dunne St. in Robstown, will hold a Mass of the Lord’s Supper followed by the Adoration until midnight.
St. Michael the Archangel, 4317 Fourth St. in Banquete, will hear confession from 7-9 p.m. with a Last Supper Mass at 7 p.m.
Holy Thursday Mass will be held at 6 p.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1302 Lantana in Corpus Christi. Confessions will be heard before and after.
St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 2045 18th St. in Corpus Christi, will hold a Holy Thursday service at 7 p.m.
Mass of the Last Supper begins at 7 p.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church/St. Patrick’s Mission, 16602 FM 624 in Robstown. Thirty-minute Adorations will be held from 8:30-10 p.m.
GOOD FRIDAY
Christ the King Church at 3423 Rojo St. in Corpus Christi plans a Good Friday service at 3 p.m. March 30.
Walk the Stations of the Cross at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Set for 11 a.m. on Good Friday, March 30, the production involves volunteers who have been rehearsing for weeks. The procession begins at the church pavilion at 5830 Williams Drive in Corpus Christi. It then travels throughout the campus, ending at the side of the church on Williams Drive where the crucifixion will be reenacted. The event is free and open to the public.
Holy Family Catholic Church, 2509 Nogales St. in Corpus Christi, will hold a bilingual Live Stations of the Cross at 7 p.m. in front of the church.
Three services will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 107 Church St. in Gregory. Good Friday begins with the Divine Mercy Chaplet at 5:45 p.m. The Stations of the Cross begins at 6 p.m. At 6:45 p.m. is the Veneration of the Cross and distribution of Holy Communion.
St. Andrew by the Sea Catholic Church, 14238 Encantada Ave. on The Island in Corpus Christi, will hold its “Passion of the Lord” service on Good Friday at 7 p.m.
Live Stations of the Cross begin at 4:30 p.m. at Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 204 Dunne St. in Robstown. The procession begins at St. Marry Mission and travels to the church for a Good Friday liturgy, Adoration of the Holy Cross, Holy Communion service and El Santo Entierro.
Good Friday services are planned morning, afternoon and evening at St. Michael the Archangel at 4317 Fourth St. in Banquete. The day begins at 7:30 a.m. for 90 minutes of confession. The Veneration of the Cross begins at 3 p.m. Stations of the Cross will be at 6 p.m.
Chaplet of Divine Mercy begins at 5:45 p.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1302 Lantana in Corpus Christi. At 6 p.m., the Good Friday liturgy begins. Confessions will be heard before and after.
St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 2045 18th St. in Corpus Christi, begins Good Friday at noon with the Passion of the Lord. Stations of the Cross begins at 3 p.m. followed by Divine Mercy at 4 p.m. The Passion of the Lord will be repeated at 6 p.m.
Liturgy of the Word begins at 3 p.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church/St. Patrick’s Mission, 16602 FM 624 in Robstown.
SATURDAY EASTER VIGILS
An Easter Vigil Mass begins at 7 p.m. at St. Andrew by the Sea Catholic Church, 14238 Encantada Ave. on The Island in Corpus Christi.
Easter vigils will be held at 8 p.m. at the following Catholic churches in Corpus Christi:

• Holy Family, 2509 Nogales St.
• Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 5830 Williams Drive
• St. Theresa, 1302 Lantana
