After Ashley and Mark Ginithan fired the sixth janitorial service they had used in three years of property management in Corpus Christi, the young entrepreneurs decided it was time to start another business. They soon added janitorial and day porter services along with facility management to a company they now call C.C. Staples Management.
“We were so dissatisfied with all the other janitorial companies, we created our own,” Ashley Ginithan said. “Most of the janitorial services are from out of the city. We would call with a problem, and they would say, ‘We’ll be in town next week and can come by then.’ Well, that’s not good enough. I needed them sooner than that.”
Housed in Staples Tower at Six Points, C.C. Staples Management provides one-on-one contact with all its clients in a timely manner.
“We are in Corpus Christi and can be there when you need us,” she said. “We spot-check all our buildings. We are extremely hands-on with all our clients.”
The proof is in the growing business and continued awards. C.C. Staples Management won the 2016 Business of the Year Award from the United Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce. It also received a Certificate of Congressional Recognition from the U.S. House of Representatives through Rep. Blake Farenthold (R-Corpus Christi).
The company provides both residential and commercial services.
What its clients like most about C.C. Staples Management, Ginithan said, is not just the good service but also its reasonable prices.
“What I hear most from everyone is that when we give janitorial quotes, they are really low,” she said, adding that the company’s prices are better for two very good reasons.
“One: We are local, we are not coming from a different city — we don’t have that out-of-city expense,” she said. “And, two: We have really low prices on all of our supplies.”
C.C. Staples Management outsources supplies to get the best price for quality products.
Another secret to success is community involvement. The Ginithans believe in supporting the people and places they serve. They are members of the Building Owners Management Association and the local chamber. They sponsor and attend local events across the city.
“We like to meet people and socialize,” she said. “We want to know you. In the business, too. We want to meet you face to face, not just over the phone or through email.”
Anyone interested in getting a quote for services can start the interaction with a phone call, which is followed by an on-site visit. Or, interested clients can visit the new headquarters in Staples Tower and meet the dedicated staff firsthand.
“We consider our employees family,” Ginithan said. “We have had them for three years now. They are a good team.”
