Three weekends of celebration at the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History begin Saturday, Dec. 5, with Holidays at the WHOseum. On Saturday, Dec. 12, experience a Very Nutcracker Holiday, and, finally, on Saturday, Dec. 19, enjoy a Winter Wonderland of snow, science, and more.

The Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History hosts three Wonderful Winter Weekends beginning Saturday, Dec. 5, and continuing on the next two Saturdays, Dec. 12 and 19. Events run from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Three different themed celebrations provide three times the holiday cheer in this series of winter-filled events. Decked out for the season, the museum welcomes visitors to explore.
December 5

Enjoy holiday-themed science shows, listen to the Caroling Elves, and take photos with the Grinch! Guests can play Dreidel, Dreidel, Dreidel, create their own Kwanzaa Kufi, and craft a personalized ornament. Take part in Letters to Santa and the make-your-own Cup O' Grinch. Holiday concessions are available for purchase.

  • 'The Nutcracker Ballet: Act II'

After the WHOseum is over, take a journey to the Kingdom of Sweets with the Corpus Christi Ballet. The ballet performance is a separate ticketed event taking place at the museum. TIckets can be pre-purchased by contacting the Corpus Christi Ballet Office.
December 12:

Explore the Museum's Christmas-themed crafts, science shows, and ornament-making stations while listening to music from Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker" and enjoying theatrical performances by Museum LIVE! actors as they bring favorite holiday stories to life. Visitors can write letters to Santa and then head to the Nutcracker Creation Station to decorate their very own nutcracker soldier toy!

  • 'The Nutcracker Ballet: Act II'

Later that evening, guests are invited to stay and enjoy the Corpus Christi Ballet performance, a separately ticketed event, hosted at the museum. TIckets can be pre-purchased by contacting the Corpus Christi Ballet Office.
December 19:

Enjoy unique snowy science shows, watch Museum LIVE! performances, and learn the history of holiday candy. Guests can launch a snowball using the museum's snowball catapult and even build a snowman in South Texas! Concessions are available for purchase.
Wonderful Winter Weekends tickets are available for purchase at the front desk on the day of each event or online. Some activity stations will be an additional cost. Face coverings are mandatory for all visitors prior to entering the museum.
