Corpus Christi municipal courts reopened Monday, June 1, for payments and customer service only. All in-person court dockets have been canceled through July 31, city officials recently announced. Anyone scheduled to appear before the court will receive a mailed notification with a new court date for either in-person or video appearance.
“Residents are still encouraged to resolve their cases online, by email, mail, or by phone without appearing in person,” stated the city’s announcement.
Anyone visiting the building must adhere to the following:
• wear a face mask at all times;
• have temperature taken before entering;
• maintain social distancing;
• observe all COVID-19 precautions and signage.
Visitors with a temperature of 100 degrees or higher will be denied entrance.
