The city of Corpus Christi is looking for vendors to operate businesses at its parks and beaches during the tourist season from March through September. The Parks and Recreation Department began accepting applications for vendor permits on Feb. 8. The last day to apply is Feb. 22. 
An informational reception on the vendor program is Feb. 16 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Corpus Christi City Hall, 1201 Leopard St.
Vendor locations for food, beverages, and entertainment include:

  • Whitecap Beach
  • North Packery Beach
  • South Packery Beach
  • Michael J. Ellis Beach and Seawall
  • Cole Park
  • The Water’s Edge
  • North Beach

Vendors also may request a park location not on the list.
City officials will judge applicants based on current business credentials, experience, product quality, and business capacity. Successful applicants must pass background checks before obtaining permits.
