Pay tickets/fines by Feb. 25 for Corpus Christi Municipal Court warrants
Residents with unpaid tickets or child support or a charge of failure to appear in court might have a warrant out for their arrest. If so, you have received notice from the Corpus Christi Municipal Court and are advised to pay or face arrest. Court marshals will be actively pursuing those with outstanding warrants starting Feb. 26.
Municipal Court Judge Gail Loeb and Court Director Gilbert Hernandez announced the kickoff of the 2022 Warrant Roundup at the Corpus Christi City Council meeting Feb. 8.
An amnesty period without fear of arrest is Feb. 14-25. During this time, if you have an active warrant, you may contact the Municipal Court at 361-826-2500 or mcmail@cctexas.com to resolve it.
After Feb. 26, authorities will arrest residents at home, work, or anywhere they are found. The roundup will continue until Saturday, March 5. Cases with active warrants are assessed additional fees and costs.
If residents cannot pay their fines and fees, they should contact the court at 361-826-2500 or mcpaymentplan@cctexas.com to select an alternative method in resolving their warrants.
Those who need to speak with a judge regarding alternative methods to resolve a case will be scheduled for a walk-in hearing.
