Two new restaurants in Corpus Christi, Dave and Buster’s and Raising Cane’s, are set to open in December. Both need a substantial number of employees and are taking applications now.

Two major restaurant chains are looking for employees — a lot of them. Dave & Buster’s announced it needed to fill 150 positions before opening in La Palmera Mall in December. Raising Cane’s, which will open Dec. 4 at 5425 South Padre Island Drive, needs 75 “crewmembers” before that date. Both restaurants are new to Corpus Christi.

DAVE AND BUSTER’S

Dave and Buster’s is advertising for “enthusiastic individuals to join the team.” Positions are available in both front- and back-of-house capacities. Applications are being taken online for servers, bartenders, hosts, line cooks, game techs, and more.
Many of the positions come with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and a 401K. The company also promises promotion opportunities and a fun work atmosphere.
At 17,000 square feet, the Corpus Christi restaurant features chef-crafted food, innovative drinks, hundreds of the latest arcade games, and dozens of high-definition TVs in its D&B Sports Bar. Dave & Buster’s is headquartered in Dallas and has 118 restaurants in North America.

RAISING CANE’S

Famous for its fresh, never frozen, chicken fingers, Raising Cane’s will be interviewing applicants through Nov. 26 at Aloft Hotel, 5117 Embassy Drive in Corpus Christi. Those interested can apply online or stop by the hiring center 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday.
“We are excited to bring these new jobs to Corpus Christi and can’t wait to meet exceptional candidates to join the Raising Cane’s team,” General Manager Billy Grace said. “We offer competitive pay, a great work environment, and a fun company culture that sets us apart from our competitors.”
Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers has more than 390 restaurants in 24 states as well as Bahrain, Kuwait, Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia. Several new restaurants, including the one in Corpus Christi, are under construction.
