Super Tuesday is here, and free bus rides are available to anyone in Corpus Christi needing to get to the polls March 3. Polls are open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Voters can go to any location to vote, no matter where they live or work in the city. For locations, click here. A state-issued ID is required to vote.
The fare-free Ride the "B" to Vote does not require identification, announced the Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority.
“CCRTA understands that transportation or financial hardship can be seen as a barrier to voting,” said CCRTA CEO Jorge Cruz-Avedo. “We want to remove those obstructions by offering complimentary transportation.”
B-Line Paratransit services are also available for riders with disabilities. Call 361-903-3596 to schedule pickup in advance. For more information on the service, visit ccrta.org/vote.
For voting locations and other voting information, check the Nueces County Elections Office webpage. You’ll even find sample ballots. Election night results will be available on the main election page.
