Spiral and spin in a winter wonderland at the American Bank Center — a whole month before the Winter Olympics. For two days only, the IceRays arena is open for a public skate.
Bring the whole family Dec. 21-22. The area opens at 3 p.m. with two skate sessions from 4 to 6 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. both days. Ice skates are available for children and adults on a first-come, first-served basis. In addition to skating, there will be music, arts and crafts and holiday-inspired food and beverages.
Admission costs only $10 at the door (cash only).
Proceeds benefit Bikes for Kids, a program that gives kids the joy of a first bike.
Can’t make it this time? All weekend home games after the IceRays play, the American Bank Center opens the arena for post-game skating.
