Padre Balli Park is a beloved local beachside park known for its surfing and shore fishing.
Bob Hall Pier, a longtime fishing and gathering spot on this stretch of shoreline, sustained heavy damage from Hurricane Hanna in 2020. It's closed pending reconstruction.
The beach park includes RV and tent campsites with electrical and water hookups. Other conveniences are a bathhouse, cabanas, and picnic tables. You also can opt for primitive camping on the beach.

Don’t forget about the s’mores! Padre Balli Park is a popular beach for bonfire building. After a full day under the sun, prepare a cozy fire by your campsite. Now, you’ll have a place to cook your marshmallows and char your hotdogs, tell scary stories, or just watch the driftwood blaze. You will need to bring in your own wood, which cannot include any construction materials. Fires must be doused and covered before leaving the beach.
