Corpus Christi offers two great options for bowling, the perfect date night or a fun family activity.
LIGHTHOUSE LANES
Members of the military, or anyone in the public who becomes a member of Morale, Welfare, and Recreation at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, have access to Lighthouse Lanes Bowling Center.
Lighthouse Lanes prides itself on being military-friendly and even hosts "active duty" nights every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On these nights, all active-duty military members who show up in uniform can bowl for free from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. This includes gear and shoe rental, too!
This Corpus Christi bowling alley features 12 automatic scoring lanes, all of which have available bumpers — a great option for those looking for kid-friendly activities. It also offers free Wi-Fi, a bowling pro shop, and an interactive scoring system. Birthday party packages and youth leagues are available.
Lighthouse Lanes Bowling Center is open from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday and 1-10 p.m. Friday-Saturday. The bowling alley is closed on Sundays and Mondays as well as on federal holidays.
Lighthouse Lanes Bowling Center is located at E-Street, Building 1707, NAS-Corpus Christi. Call (800) 531-8521 to find out about becoming a member.
