Enjoy an evening of fast-paced action and racing excitement at South Texas Speedway in Corpus Christi. Equipped with a quarter-mile, oval dirt track, bleachers and stadium lighting, the speedway has a lot to offer for an exhilarating night out.
South Texas Speedway has been a staple in Corpus Christi since it opened in 1995. In 1998, the track was recognized as one of the Top 50 Short Tracks in the United States in Behind the Wheel magazine. The speedway fills its stands (fit for 3,000) with local racing enthusiasts every event.

Concessions are affordable with made-to-order hamburgers, hot dogs and more. Beer is also available for purchase.
The events are fun and very family-friendly with special activities for kids throughout the night between races. Aspiring racers can partake in go-kart races around the track during intermissions or test their land speed in foot races.
Speed racers with octane pumping through their veins can register to race in any event. Events depend on the vehicle, such as American stocks, sport mods, dwarf cars, bombers and more. Winners receive generous payouts, so the races are fierce and ruthless in the dash for first place.
Regular adult admission is $15 but varies depending on the event. Children 12 and younger get in free!
