The Children’s Clinic is a popular Corpus pediatric medical practice, featuring the talents and expertise of 16 doctors and 10 pediatric nurse practitioners.  Its Facebook page mentions its important, noble mission.  It says, “Our mission is to ensure that high-quality healthcare is accessible to all families in the Coastal Bend.”
Its patients’ families recommend it on Facebook for the caring treatment their children received at it.  Melinda Villafuerte wrote, “Gosh my oldest child is 28 and to this day I still use this clinic for my younger kids!  Love the doctors!”  Similarly, Becca Sparks said, My son started out with Dr. McNeil, but then when my son was about 6 months old he retired.  I was so worried about finding another pediatrician that I felt comfortable with and could trust with my son's life.  We accidentally found Dr. Richard Cortes, when I had taken my son to the after-hours clinic and he was the physician on duty that night.  He had such a great bedside manner with my son, and talked in a way that made sense and made me feel comfortable to ask questions.”
The Children’s Clinic does not charge parents for prenatal visits, allowing them the opportunity to become familiar with the doctors and nurses on staff before their babies arrive.  It is located at 3435 S. Alameda St. in Corpus Christi and it is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.  Its phone number is 361-855-7346.
