Birth and death certificates now can be accessed at Corpus Christi City Hall

Vital records for Corpus Christi residents are now available at City Hall, 1201 Leopard St., after a recent move. Birth and death certificates are on the first floor of the building next to the Utilities and Business office.
The cost for a certified birth certificate is $23, while a death certificate is $21. Residents requesting documents must have a valid state-issued identification or driver’s license to obtain certified copies of legal records. For detailed information on what is required to pick up the paperwork, visit the city of Corpus Christi's website.
Hours of operation for the Vital Records office are Monday-Friday, 8-11:45 a.m. and 1-4:45 p.m. The office can be reached at 361-826-7229.
Other important legal life records, such as marriage and divorce records, can be obtained down the street from City Hall at the Nueces County Courthouse, 901 Leopard St.
Previously, vital records were housed at the Corpus Christi Nueces County Health District offices at 1702 Horne Road.
