Despite the challenges of life during a pandemic, some of Corpus Christi and the Coastal Bend’s holiday entertainment traditions will still go on! With safety protocols in place, here is a list of the holiday season sensations you and your family can attend this year.

The band For King & Country will perform a never before experienced live concert of Christmas classics from their new album, “A Drummer Boy Christmas,” along with other year-round favorites such as “God Only Knows,” “Together,” and more.

A CHRISTMAS CAROL

A live performance of “A Christmas Carol” is once again on the Harbor Playhouse schedule. Health precautions based on CDC, state, and county guidelines will be followed by cast and crew, who are also regularly tested for COVID-19, courtesy of the Coastal Bend Wellness Foundation. Occupancy will be limited based on state mandates, and more shows are being offered to accommodate smaller audiences.
Cleaning and disinfecting will be done throughout the theater between performances. A new HVAC system has been installed for optimal ventilation. Seating setup will ensure comfort and safe social distancing, allowing families and small groups to sit together if possible.
Masks are mandatory at all times inside the theater except when eating or drinking. Free PPE including high-grade masks and face shields will be available for guests, and each attendee will receive an individual bottle of hand sanitizer upon entry.
Due to seating arrangements, all tickets MUST be purchased by calling the office at 361-882-5500. Tickets cannot be purchased online or at the door.

Corpus Christi Ballet’s THE NUTCRACKER SWEETS

The Corpus Christi Ballet will perform an abbreviated version of “The Nutcracker” ballot. A performance of Act II, Kingdom of the Sweets will take place Dec. 5 in Beeville and Dec. 12 in Corpus Christi at the Museum of Science and History.
The Museum of Science and History is implementing health and safety measures that include comprehensive, continual, daily cleaning and disinfecting, social distancing, and mandatory masks and gloves for employees. All guests over the age of 10 must wear face coverings during their visit.
